Investor funds never move through x402.
Two kinds of money
- Software fees. Card checkout takes software fees only: operator setup and license, issuer setup and license, the asset-administration fee, and data and tour add-ons. Where the platform runs in demo mode, no payment is taken.
- Investor money. It never goes through card checkout. It goes to the offering's escrow account.
The platform pays no one a percentage. A broker-dealer's commission is paid by the issuer, outside the platform. The system has no field that pays anyone a percentage of an offering.
Investor funds
- In an all-or-none or other contingent offering, Rule 15c2-4 requires the broker-dealer to put investor payments promptly in a separate bank account, as agent or trustee, or to send them to a bank that has agreed in writing to hold them in escrow until the contingency occurs (17 CFR 240.15c2-4).
- Under Regulation Crowdfunding, a funding portal has investors send money to a qualified third party that has agreed in writing to hold it (17 CFR 227.303(e)).
- Tokens mint only after funds clear.
- Rent goes to the property company's account. The company pays distributions, and the issuer signs each one.
Stablecoins
Stablecoin settlement is not connected today. It is planned once the token contracts are deployed. A sample asset has been issued on test networks, as the legal hub's status board lists; the ERC-3643 token contracts are written and tested, not deployed to any network.
GENIUS Act: Subscriptions and distributions in stablecoin use only payment stablecoins whose issuers are permitted under the Act once its rules take effect. The platform does not issue a stablecoin.

x402
x402 is a payment rail for machine-to-machine payments such as data pulls, appraisals and partner calls. It is planned and not wired yet. Investor funds never move through x402.
